Timothy is the owner and driving force of LOUE bicycles. Ever since he started cycling, his life revolves around the bicycle – training and racing, fixing bicycles and bike fitting.
Tim hopes to use his personal and career experiences to help his clients and provide them with the support they need. As a former professional cyclist, he knows how frustrating an improper bike fit can be especially when it affects performance and efficiency on the bicycle. He is constantly on a quest to learn and improve as he believes that by investing in learning, he is investing in his clients. Tim constantly travels to meet other professionals in the cycling science industry to find methods to improve on his bikefit protocols and techniques, as well as to learn about new bikefit equipment and tools. He hopes to bring these knowledge and experiences, together with his eye for detail, into his business. Tim knows that there is no single approach that works for everyone, so he continues to educate himself on emerging techniques to provide the most comprehensive program that works for each of his client’s individual needs.
He is a gebiomized bikefit instructor, and is accredited by almost all bikefit certifications available worldwide. Tim has presented at several local and international bikefitting symposiums and medical fairs. He is the South East Asian representative for the International Bikefitting Institute (IBFI).
Timothy also holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Mech. Engineering from the National University of Singapore, specializing in precision engineering. His passion in bicycles drove him to pursue custom bicycle frame building, travelling to the US to work with and learn from renowned framebuilders Mike Flanigan and David Bohm. As an elite road cyclist with the OCBC Singapore Continental Cycling Team since 2009 and the National Road Cycling team, Timothy has competed all over the world in UCI races in France, Japan, Australia and South East Asia. He also represented Singapore in the Asian Cycling Championships in 2010, 2012 and 2013. Prior to cycling, Timothy was an endurance runner, competing at national level.
